Stopped in to JP's today for lunch while on the road. Only a few people there, and the bartender (who turned out to be the owner) hooked me up with a beverage and a menu right away. Asked what was good, and he said they were known for the pizza and wings, so I got a personal pizza. Forget what it was called, but it had artichokes, tomatoes, feta and basil I think. In any event, it was actually pretty darned good pizza! Nice chewy crust, not too dense, with a good crispness to it. It was also just the right size for me for lunch. Good selection of local beers on tap, as well, which is always awesome. I had a red, and it was quite good. Overall a very good experience. Service was terrific, food was above average. I'd go back!

The location is now JP's family dining. One owner bought out another. Stopped in for a beer and a salad for lunch. Salad was freshly prepared (Calypso: iceberg lettuce bacon red onion pineapple and feta cheese). They seem to have a good selection of SD brews. Salad not exotic but it was fresh and enjoyed.

Good food! Highly recommend the Italian club! Pretty much the best one ive ever had. Decent service. Friendly environment. Cute small town place to eat for tourist. We will br back if we are ever in the area!

I love places that don't try to be cool but still manage to project personality. Bumpers Grub & Pub does just that. When I first walked in, I wasn't impressed. Dank lighting, stale cigarette smoke, an even darker adjoining bar. I held out hope and it was rewarded with delicious food. The chicken wings are to die for. I had a mixed basket of parmesan garlic and lime wings. I didn't stop there. I got the Bleu 'n' Moo burger with bleu cheese, a simple but satisfying eat. Service was quick and professional, parking wasn't a problem. The downtown area is a shell of its former self, so it's a small wonder that Bumpers has survived.

I had the chicken tenders tossed in nuclear sauce with the inferno kicker. I can eat extraordinarily hot food, but this was near my threshold. I loved it. Amateurs beware! My friends had the buffalo burger. They enjoyed it and said it was lean and juicy. Also, the local beer selection was great.

Wife and I had the burger and it was OK. Waffle fries were good but the service was a little slow.
